Previous Industry Speakers

Tony Hadley
Singer/ Songwriter/ Performer
Many thanks go out to Tony Hadley, who was our  guest seminar speaker on Thursday 29th January 2009
Students and staff alike where more than impressed with the ounces of information that Tony had to share.
He has been an accomplished solo artist for nearly 15 years following his successful career with Spandau Ballet. As the lead singer of Spandau Ballet, and the voice everyone has gotten to recognise from hits like “True” and “Gold”, he enjoyed massive worldwide success with over 10 top ten singles with the group being considered pioneers of the 80s New Romantic movement. Tony loves song writing and recording, although his real passion lies within the live arena. His musical work has been extremely far-reaching and diverse. He has performed with Orchestras, in concerts, made his West End debut as Billy Flynn in Chicago, and also has his own show on Virgin radio. Throughout his musical career Tony has pretty much done it all.  Tony’s contribution to the music industry was recognised in 2005 when The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters awarded him with a Gold Badge.
